Palabras de la vida

Words WORDS!! I know that I have a tendency to say things sometimes wthout thinking. The words have become part of my vocabulary, and well..I usually don’t even know that I am saying them. The worst part is that I have a two year old around listening to every WORD.
Things I wish my daughter wouldn’t say- my fault
- “What the heck!”
- “WHAT THEEEEEE!”
-”NO!”
-”Stop it! A pow pow!”
So maybe these phrases are not so bad, but I’d prefer that #1 be completely gone..because in public it doesn’t make me look like a good mother..haha. My nephew (who is 4) says his own things caught on by my older nephews (15,17), and my younger brother (15). Those transpose over to my daughter since they are usually always together.
Things that my daughter thinks are funny and repeats after my nephew..
- “OH SNAP!”
- “I’m psycho”
- “You crazy momma?”
Well I suppose that isn’t so bad, but if she didn’t repeat it so much I wouldn’t care. She seems to think they are funny. The problem is I can’t just go and have a tantrum and call her attention when she says any of these phrases because that will cause her to say them more often knowing that it defies me. Not that she is bad, but isn’t it human nature to want to do the things we aren’t “supposed” to do?
Out of all these things there are however words that I love and am glad that I taught her.
GOOD WORDS…
-”I love you momma”
- (when i say ouch or hurt myself) “Are you ok momma?..you need a bandaid?”
- “Thank you momma”
- “You welcome”
- “Dats dery dery danger”
Of course there are many more, but I just think some are just so hilarious and stand out more than others. I remember the time when I was so excited that she was starting to talk..oh..I miss those days haha..
HAHA Funny.
OMG.this is hilarious..self titled ‘N Chink please check this one and the others out..too funny! What’s with the naked guy and the guitar?! haha
Care Bears Stare!

I just realized today as I was popping in a Care Bears dvd for my daughter to watch, how old I am haha! I mean..come on..I used to watch the Care Bears when I was a little girl. Never did I imagine that old time characters would come back and be so popular. Maybe the toy companies knew they were going to touch an old generation with these past enjoyments -hoping to stir a reminiscent feeling. I for one really didn’t Care for the Care Bears jaja..ok that was lame..but really…she got the toy as a gift. It’s hilarious to me though. I know 25 isn’t that old, but for me it seems like so long ago I was enjoying Saturday morning cartoons with my brother. We’d eat Cocoa Puffs all morning until the infomercials came on. That was what we lived for then. Now I wake up every morning with lower back pain..(thanks to my daughter haha), and a stressful day ahead. I don’t know when the last time was that I was able to just ignore everything around me and sit down without feeling burdened by the day that lay before me. Mud pies and riding my bike all day was the best. If I could get in bike riding time now..it would be a miracle. I can’t even go to the bathroom now without hearing “MAMA..MAMA, where are you?” Don’t get me wrong I love hearing those words. I just miss not caring..and letting life be as it was meant to be, without all the hassles of the world.
Booked on Phonics
I’m sorry if my sense of humor is not like the now. Current comedy shows really don’t have the punchline to them anymore. Alot of the ideas and skits are ok. Some may be funny, but on occassion. There is one show however, that I remember always being funny..and never corny. Their skits were original..and probably more realistic. Of course Satuday night live has been out forever..I must give props to the Wayans brothers for coming out with such a show…not knowing where they would go..and they have gone farther than they probably imagined. Too bad it’s not on..not even repeats! Allow me to propogate my substantuaries with the endometriosis of the altercations..flatulate!
